Architectural intervention - she creates zones of experiences.

"I am interested in making pieces that are sensitive to the space they occupy, working with it to create meaning"

Even though this pavilion is suspended so that it floats above the floor - it still has the effect of altering the sense of space within- enclosure. The construction allows the viewer to see out through the 'walls' giving another perspective of the space around the installation.

Very intricate,delicate design but still very effectively forms a distinct space within a space - altering the feel of the space.

Very simple geometric shapes that occupy a relatively small space and yet really transform the understanding of that space.



Series of blocks really focus's attention on to an otherwise blank wall. The replication of the form results in a neat and ordered piece that is easy to view and relate to.

Just the bare minimum of line necessary to form the cube - our brains fill in the missing pieces - crisp, uncluttered and changes the perceived space within.

A mix of sculpture and architecture.  For this installation Cotter asked visitors to the exhibition to bring along used and everyday items and place them into the sculpture, allowing their interaction to change the piece on a personal level and overall.
